Hi, I’m Nathan 👋
A self-taught developer from Canada 🇨🇦 and author ✍️ of Get Programming with Go (Manning Publications, 2018).
In 2017 I became a herbivore 🌱 and I’ve been a pedestrian 🚶 all my life – my small contribution towards averting the climate crisis. 🌊 I’ve also been a bachelor 🙍🏼♂️ all my life, tend to be a homebody, 🏠 and have a weakness for tsundoku. 📚
After 28 years of web development, I retired in 2025 to pursue hobbies like game development and technical writing.
